Yet another #TTBJ test taken, this time only a 1.3% increase, but mostly because I did much worse on Kanji this time. 
On the other hand, my comprehension seems to be somewhat better, and I got 29/30 on the Grammar90-1!
Will test again in 5-6 months!
On a bright note, because it still uses all the particles (に、で、の…） and lots of helper words （ところ、こと、もの…) studying N1 somehow deepens my understanding of N2/N3.
I guess the essence of language is hard to put into specific definitions while also keeping them a good learning material, so we learners have to make sense of it piece by piece, even when pieces are much smaller parts of the whole than what we might initially think.
Funny how JLPT N1 grammar so far is step up from N2 grammar in a similar way that N2 was from N3. Naively I thought that it was more about various less common grammar points that didn't make it into N2, but it seems to be more complicated and confusing from what I can see…
